"Yea.... H lets have a look at everybody...Your a top vibe... thank you!"

And dip your head into a bucket of euphoria...

I remember where i was.. where i usually am when i hear some music for the first time, on my back in a dark room at 4am... seeing dark shapes around me but hearing colours..

.. this night I heard a symphony of green.. when you dig deep for something... and search for it, everywhere and anywhere... to finally find that sound is awesome - in the real sense of the word...

My eyes were open from the very first pulse, mouth ajar... this was it..this was everything, everything i needed.

Writen in a hotel room... on the way to Tokyo... there have been a hundred thousand versions of this song through my ears, yet nothing comepares to that first time. You dont know whats around the next bar, you cant imagine it will be better than the last... you wonder how they create this... how they wake up one morning and put this down... lay out perfection like directions to the shop on the corner..

There is nothing particular about the voice.. the delivery perhaps... snippets of his reality... snippets of the world around him, against the sound of a generation, against the backdrop of kids who just wanted to dance, get high, drive four hours into the countryside and for a few hours light the silence on fire... against a supressed youth. Like an electrical jolt to the heart... this saves lives... this saves childhoods and recreates perfection... this stops hate, supression, this rebuilds homes, turns frowns upside down, this turns water into wine... this brings home the bacon, this will turn off the rain, will ring every bell and cry "Lets go!" when nothing moves... this is an island in the south pacific when your stuck in traffic on the M50 messing with a dancing Jesus....

.... this wont ever go away... not if you turn it up and close your eyes... not in a dark room 7 years ago... not in a dark room tonight, full of colour... my ears in a different place with many millions alike... singing songs that changed the world

even if it was only mine.
